Dan Castro was born. Things happened, and he is now an award-winning multi-disciplinary animator, artist and director. His teeny Edinburgh-based studio Castro & Friends works across games, films, advertising and the third sector. His work explores big feelings told in simple stories, inspired by watching cartoons on his grandad’s VHS player. A man of many hats, Dan is also researching for a PhD in playfulness (no, seriously) and lectures at the University of Edinburgh. He is taller than you, probably.
