Tom founded Interference Pattern in 2008 whilst working as the key CGI artist on the 2011 Oscar—winning animated short film ‘The Lost Thing’.

He started his career working as 3D artist in 2000 at Axis Animation and continued to work as Technical Director on the New Captain Scarlet TV series before moving to
Passion Pictures working on high profile broadcast commercials and music videos (e.g. Gorillaz). Under Tom’s creative leadership the studio has continued to grow and was BAFTA nominated for the short animated film, Nothing to Declare.
