Elaine will be leading Funding International Growth in Animation: A Conversation with the UK Global Screen Fund

The UK Global Screen Fund is designed to boost international opportunities for the UK’s independent screen sector across film, TV, animation and games. Since the start of the fund, more than £2M of grants have been awarded to animation companies. Meet the team and hear from companies who have been supported by the fund to enhance their international co-production and international business development activities, working to grow revenues, reach and partnerships, and producing projects with international appeal.

Elaine is Project Manager for the UK Global Screen Fund at the BFI and was previously Production Executive for the Young Audiences Content Fund. Her background is primarily in children’s television and animation production. She was Script Editor on Series 3 of Go Jetters, on comedy education series Ask Lara, and on Toot the Tiny Tugboat; and was a Development and Animation producer at Red Kite Animation, Super Umami and Once Were Farmers in Scotland, before moving to Manchester in 2018, where she has also worked for BBC Children’s and Kilogramme Animation.
