Alina is an Innovation Lead at Innovate UK, the government’s innovation agency. Having spent years across tech innovation (pre-Seed to Series B) across a range of sectors. She currently leads Creative Catalyst, a £30 million R&D grant programme, funding hundreds of businesses a year. The aim of Creative Catalyst fund is to support the growth of untapped innovative businesses and increase investment in creative talent. Ensuring Innovate UK’s offering strategically & operationally compliments UK Research & Innovation’s activities across the sector. She also oversees Investor Partnerships and Smart grants within the creative sector.
