Stephen will be leading Making “Peter & The Wolf”

Stephen McNally of Blink Industries takes us through the adventure of creating Peter & The Wolf, a half hour animated mixed media special for HBO. Based on the drawings of Bono and the growl of Gavin Friday in aid of the Irish Hospice, McNally and Eliot Dear directed this new adaptation of Prokofiev’s classic.
We bounce through banjos, corporate mega-mergers, smoke machines, death and life, tiny model bottled ships, rockstars’ scheduling, and an especially silly duck.

Stephen McNally is a proper storyteller, masterfully combining 2D, 3D and CG animation with distinctive character design to create atmospheric, emotionally charged films. He’s made multi-award-winning music videos for artists like Elton John, Jon Hopkins, and charming commercials for HSBC and Stella Artois. Outside of advertising, Stephen recently directed ‘Peter & The Wolf’ for HBO Max, which received international acclaim.
