Christine Hartland is an independent film producer and co-founder of My SMASH Media, the matchmaking platform for the creative industries (starting in Film & TV), with fellow independent producer Fiona Gillies and product expert Mahesh Ramachandra. Christine and Fiona met on the Creative England Market Trader programme.

As an indie producer, Christine’s debut feature, the political thriller WMD (2008), was one of the first films to follow a reverse distribution strategy. She produced CONTAINMENT which has sold worldwide (inc. Netflix). She received Creative Europe and BFI development funding.
Christine is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is a mentor with the Creative Mentor Network.
