Fiona Gillies worked extensively in Film & TV as an actor before becoming an independent film producer and, along with Christine Hartland and Mahesh Ramachandra, one of the co-founders of My SMASH Media.
Prior to SMASH, Fiona produced THE BEAT BENEATH MY FEET which was in competition at the Berlin Film Festival and subsequently released worldwide. DUMMY, which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and BIFA nominated CITY SLACKER are available in over 40 countries worldwide. She’s worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre and major broadcasters and worldwide streamers.
Fiona is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has been a mentor for Women in Film & TV.
