Ana Stefaniak

Ana is a Polish-born animator and illustrator currently based in Edinburgh. She moved to the UK to study animation and graduated from the Royal College of Art with a Masters in Animation Direction in 2014. Some of her most prominent works include video design for BBC Proms Ten Pieces III show at the Royal Albert Hall, illustration for National Theatre’s The Witches Musical and the short animation for Royal Society “Why We Need Biodiversity?” narrated by Sir David Attenborough, which won several awards worldwide. In July 2023, Ana set up her own animation studio – OOF Animation – with graphic-designer-turned-animator – Ignatz Johnson Higham. She now focuses both on commercial and narrative-based animations. She is currently working on a short film and writing a short animated series aimed at younger audiences.
