Richard co-founded Axis Studios after an early career in graphic design, digital art, video games, and animation. Richard guided Axis Studios to be a leading animation and VFX studio in the UK working across the whole entertainment industry.

Across his career Richard has Executive Produced on a range of projects, including the Emmy Award-winning series Lost In Oz for Amazon Studios, Royal Television Society Award-winning series Kiss Me First for Channel 4/Netflix, episodes of the Emmy Award-winning Love Death & Robots for Netflix, Secret Level for Amazon Studios, and the animated feature film Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, which ranked in the Top Ten Films Worldwide on Netflix in December 2022.

Towards the end of 2024 Richard founded Utility Vehicle and is now advising and supporting a range of creative studio and post-production company founders and owners as they start, grow, or evolve their businesses.
