Suzie Brearley is Wild Child Animation’s people person, dedicated to working with our teams to maximise their strengths and help individuals smash their personal glass ceilings. At Wild Child Animation, she collaborates closely with the leadership team to shape the organisational structure through tailored training planning, strategic recruitment, and coaching and mentoring programs.  Suzie also runs specialised training programmes, supported by funding partners, to ensure that the crew performs at its best.  

Suzie’s career journey, which began in children’s book publishing, has provided her with a wealth of experience that informs her approach to people development today. In her early role as an artists’ agent, she managed a roster of authors and illustrators whose work was published in 20 languages and nominated for industry awards. She has managed creative projects for Disney, Nickelodeon, BBC, and Sky, with credits spanning television shows and books for brands such as Star Wars, LEGO, PAW Patrol, and Winnie the Pooh, as well as a host of original IP.

Before joining Wild Child Animation, Suzie led the development of a talent-driven reality television project, culminating in a deal with Nat Geo WILD to produce a Disney+ television series based on a YouTube channel she co-developed and produced.
