Will Adams
Will Adams is a BAFTA-winning Creative Director, Episodic Director and Co-Founder of Wild Child Animation, with storytelling experience in comedy, horror and lullabyes.
For 20 years, he co-led Once Were Farmers, crafting stories across animation, live action, and visual effects honing his expertise across multiple disciplines. In the founders of Wild Child, he found like-minded collaborators who shared his passion and values, creating the perfect opportunity to channel his experience into what he loves most, creating animated series.
As Creative Director, Will splits his time between shaping the direction of the company as a whole and the creative – ensuring that every element of a project moves under a unified vision. By bringing teams and clients together, he inspires originality, consistency and impact across all work. Will thrives in Wild Child’s highly collaborative environment, where innovation and storytelling go hand in hand.
As an Episodic Director, Will co-directed Toad & Friends (Warner Bros.) and is currently co-directing Piri Penguins (BBC), which blends simple 2D characters with rich 3D worlds. With the Scottish Film Talent Network, he produced the BAFTA-winning short Widdershins (2018) and directed the horror short Nothing to Declare, written by Frank Quitely. In contrast, he also art-directed the soft, tactile world of Hushabye Lullabye for CBeebies and has written nursery rhymes for the toy company Bababoo and Friends
