Eilidh Brown

Eilidh Brown, a CG Rigging Artist with nearly five years of experience in Scottish animation, found rigging to be a perfect fit for her technical and creative interests. The role merges her problem-solving and programming skills with creative skills like designing appealing character body and facial rigs. For Eilidh, it’s the perfect balance of technology and artistry.

Eilidh has always been enthusiastic about animated media and storytelling, but she didn’t discover her path in rigging until studying Computer Arts at Abertay University. She was fortunate to be mentored by Axis Studios, which kick-started her career. Since then, she’s worked on projects ranging from feature films and TV shows to video game cutscenes for Netflix, Riot Games, Supercell, Blizzard, and Marvel. Now at Wild Child, Eilidh is busy bringing adorable characters to life for a children’s animated project.

Eilidh is passionate about championing women and other underrepresented groups within the animation industry, especially in technical roles. Outside of work, she loves immersing herself in various forms of media, movies, TV shows, books, and video games, while also indulging in creative hobbies such as crochet, baking, and even teaching herself the piano.
