Tom will also be giving a presentation on How Blue Zoo is keeping up with audience demands using VR on Thursday 22nd.

The way audiences consume video content is shifting rapidly, whilst animation production timescales have remained static. In this talk, Tom Box, co-founder of multi-BAFTA and Emmy-winning Blue Zoo Animation Studio, shares the studio’s R&D experiments to keep up with modern audiences using VR Puppetry tools utilising Unreal Engine and YouTube analytics.

Co-founder and joint managing director of multiple Emmy and BAFTA winning Blue Zoo Animation Studio, Tom has been the driving force behind continuing to push the studio forwards, both technically and culturally. Tom is also very active with skills and future talent development, acting as Chair of the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Council, NextGen Skills Academy, Manchester Animation Festival and is a founding director of ACCESS:VFX.
